5S Approach to Tool Management

Custom Fabricated (Foam) Tool Control Systems

Grampian Fasteners' Custom Fabricated Foam Inserts offer the best interior protection for your tool container / storage systems and/or for transporting your consignments e.g. delicate machinery, tools or electrical equipment.

The latest CAD software is used to design each insert’s layout to optimise space usage and durability. Inserts can be designed and cut (CNC routing) to meet individual customer specifications and budgets.

Grampian Fasteners also have the ability to source and supply cases and containers (e.g. plastic, aluminium, Peli) to suit the size and shape of the specific items to be stored  / transported.

Tool Identification

Where there are strict requirements for tools or equipment to be readily identifiable e.g. for purposes of traceability and/or re-ordering, we have a simple solution that will provide added security to custom tool sets.

Special tool identification tags are placed next to or inside individual cavities - making use of labels with bar codes, serial numbers, part numbers, data matrix and other customised identification systems.

To ensure the best security, productivity and control, we can engrave your identification marks, kit reference numbers or logos and more - working with you to achieve the best solution for your staff and operations.
