Solutions for Industry
Tool Control Systems / Custom Foam Inserts
Beta Tools offer 2 options of prefabricated tool control systems - the Soft Module System and the Hard-thermoformed Tray System. These are designed to provide the ultimate protection for your tools - fitting snugly in all standard Beta Tools storage containers and/or boxes.
Alternatively, compile your desired tools and we will create one-off foam inserts to house each tool safely and securely. Our tool control systems are especially useful when toolboxes are being moved around and the two-tone foams help you to quickly identify missing tools. This service is available for any toolbox and can also be applied to hand held boxes - creating a great protective environment for your items.

Electronic Locking
We can now provide a security solution in the form of electronic locking:
- Can be fitted to most tool cabinets*
- Ideally used in conjunction with foam inserts
- Logs user access to the tool cabinet
- Auto locks cabinet after preset time
- Can provide restricted access (e.g. restricted to shift times)
- Lock operated by keypad or proximity switch
- Keypad can operate more than one cabinet at the same time
- Access to the toolbox is programmable - can run as stand alone system or linked to a computer

Drawer Logging
Used in conjunction with the electronic lock:
- Logs time and date that each drawer was opened / closed and keeps record of peron who opened it
- Requires computer terminal at each work station (several stations can also be networked)
Tool Logging
Used in conjunction with the foam inserts, electronic lock and drawer log:
- All tools assigned a 2D matrix code
- 2D matrix code fixed to foam
- Individual tools uniquely marked for ID purposes
- Requires computer terminal at each work station
